Colleges in Alabama Montevallo

Alabama has an expansive offering of educational options. There are over 80 colleges and universities in Alabama, including traditional four-year universities, two-year degree programs, community colleges, and vocational schools. The Alabama State College system consists of several Universities, the most well known being The University of Alabama at Birmingham and Auburn University, one of the largest and most prestigious schools in the South.

Birmingham is the largest city in the state and is home to several of the colleges including the private Samford University and the well-known public Troy University. The Alabama State capital Montgomery is home to branch campuses of colleges like Auburn and Troy. Alabama also has several prominent Christian and Jesuit Universities including Judson College and Spring Hill College.
