Stunning landscapes are everywhere in Colorado, a state that is home to the Rocky Mountains and lush forests and rivers. This is a great state for students looking for an outdoor as well as academic experience. In the city of Boulder is the largest college in Colorado, the University of Colorado. Boulder is known for it’s eco-conscious, healthy lifestyle oriented population. In Denver, there’s the University of Denver and the Art Institute of Colorado. Other 4-year schools include Mesa State College and Colorado State University.
Notably, Colorado is also home to the United States Air Force Academy and the highly selective Colorado School of Mines. There’s also the Colorado Community College system that has about 25 community colleges throughout the state, including the large Front Range Community College.
