Many of the top ranked colleges in the country are located in Illinois, the most populated state in the Midwest. Illinois has a rich group of community colleges under the Illinois Community College System (ICCS) and has over 50 schools including the City Colleges of Chicago and two culinary schools. A very strong community college is the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, which is the third largest community college in the nation.
