Colleges in Oklahoma Goodwell

There are over 150 college and university options in Oklahoma, located primarily in the cities of Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Lawton and Enid. Two of the top ranked public universities in the state are the University of Tulsa and Oklahoma City University. Other public options include the largest public universities, University of Oklahoma – Norman Campus and Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City.

As Oklahoma is considered part of the Bible Belt, there are several religiously-affiliated colleges including the Oklahoma Christian University and the Oklahoma Baptist University, which are both two of the most competitive private colleges in the West. Other private colleges in Oklahoma are Bacone College, a liberal arts school, and Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. Tulsa is also home to the University of Tulsa.
