College Review What is your overall opinion of this school? I think that our school is too small and I'm only a freshman. But it has amazing opportunities and I don't think we all realized how spoiled we are for going here. It's nice because everything is so accessible-buildings, professors, classes, food, laundry, parties- everything is a two minute walk. but having everyone know everyone else so quickly means that people get a little cliquely. so the size depends on the way you look at it. People are always impressed when I say I go to Davidson because I'm basically in a "NEW" Ivy League school. What are the academics like at your school? The academics here are probably the hardest part about going here. I mean I know that I'll end up getting a good job once I graduate but in reality every single class is increasingly challenging so I'm usually pretty stressed a lot of the time. But for the most part professors are great, I learn a lot and always get to know my professors outside of class. Describe the students at your school. Everyone is always very nice and pleasant the first semester until groups start getting made. But it doesn't seem that difficult to meet new people all the time. Everyone is really nice all the time. I love all my friends who I have met here- they are some of the most amazing people and RLO did great jobs pairing people up on the hall. Everyone has a laidback preppy well put together dress in class and when going out. sweats are usually accompanied by pearls in girls for example. and khakis and sperries for a lot of boys. but really anything goes. and as does the type of people here. although it may feel too preppy a lot of the time- everyone can find there own nitch- except goths. 947 Likes Like This Answer Already Liked This Answer Thank you, this item will be reviewed. What are the most popular student activities/groups? Everyone seems to be invovled in a sport or keeping fit in some way. EVERYONE. Frats and eating houses are a MUST for most individuals. its odd if you aren't in one. Everyone leaves their doors open. Everyone goes to every type of event. dating SUCKS though.
