    • What is your overall opinion of this school?

I would never want to go anywhere else. One of, if not the best choice of my life to attend this University. The weather is incredible, the party scene is incredible, the people are very good looking, most teachers are great, the campus is constantly improving, you have D-1 sports to cheer for, tailgating is a blast, you can say you are part of the []_[] family, you are in a legit city with all kinds of party locations and scenes, and I love the diversity.

    • What are the academics like at your school?

Small classes generally, good teachers, don't have to study a ton if you are able to pay attention in class, class participation is off and on, students help each other for the most part. I am a film and economics double major with a business admin and international studies double minor. I graduated in 3.5 years. You can do so much here, I feel ready to take on the world. I've taken finance classes, history of jazz, oceanography, english, producing a motion picture, and plenty of more variety.

    • Describe the students at your school.

Bros and Japs. The guys wear tank tops and snap back hats and basketball jerseys. Girls are daddy's girls (Japanese American Princesses) with lots of money and think they are hotter than they are. These two stereotypes are true for some of the population. More true for the South Beach club goers and party people. There are a lot of kids from New York/New Jersey/Philly and they seem to have dominate personalities so they stand out. There is a lot of good looking people that tan and party a lot, but the school is becoming more academically challenging.

    • Describe your school to someone who’s never heard of it.

A high profile sports school. a private school with 12,000 undergrads. South of the city of Miami. Great research school. Founded in 1925. Known for partying, tanning, and now for academics as well.

    • Describe a day on campus you’ll never forget.

Drinking at the bar on campus, skipping all classes, tanning at the pool, playing frisbee, then going out at night.

    • Describe a typical weekend.

Pre game thursday with friends, go to the Grove bar scene where anyone who is anyone is. Friday go to south beach to a club, or brickell to the bars, or to a house party and repeat saturday. Hit the beach during the day or go to the pool on campus. Play some intramural sports, do some grocery shopping, do a keg race or go to a sporting event. You can do anything.

    • Tell us about your professors.

Comm school is decent. Business school is amazing.

    • Describe the dorms.

40 people per floor, generally two in a room, pretty small, you should bunk your beds, i had a tv and a futon freshman year along with fridge and microwave. Pretty nice compared to other colleges i visited.

    • What’s the dating scene like?

Good. Lot's of good looking people all over Miami and for sure at UM. You can find plenty of dates.

    • What’s the Greek scene like?

Some parties, mixers, buses to South Beach clubs. A lot different than a state school.

    • What’s unique about your campus?

Huge lake right in the middle, bar on campus, all classroom hallways are outdoors, all buildings look very different, great vegetation.

    • When you step off campus what do you see?

houses, the metro, US 1, restaurants, businesses, apartments, gas station, a hospital

    • What do students complain about most?

Dining hall which is not that bad. RAs. Rain. 8am class. Class on fridays. Tests. Papers. Parking on campus.

    • Here’s your chance: Say anything about your college!

I'm biased, but one of the best University college scenes in the world. Miami is so international and there are so many things to do. Everyone is good looking, the weather is awesome. It feels great to be a hurricane. You can throw up the []_[] anywhere and people know what it is. Best decision of my life to go here.

    • Why did you decide to go to this school?

Far from home, great weather, visited campus and fell in love with it. Had everything I wanted.

    • What are your classes like?

None bigger than 160 kids. Comm school is not that hard. Business school has great teachers. Nothing is too difficult that I took.

    • Tell us about the sports scene on campus.

Lots of intramurals, club sports, nice gym for basketball and raquetball. Then varsity sports, basketball stadium is on campus. volleyball and soccer play on campus. football is played at Dolphins Stadium. Its a 30 minute drive. Students take free buses or drive and tailgate.

    • Tell us about the food and dining options.

Bar on campus with bar food. Wendy's, Nikos, Salsa Ritas, Subway, Jamba Juice, sushi, Chop Chop, dining halls, pizza, C-store, everything else is right across the street from campus like TGI Fridays, McDonalds, Dennys, and nice restaurants.

    • Do you feel like you changed a lot?

A little. More tan, more working out, but not that much.
