Macalester: The Big Picture
It is small and there are quite many international stdudents. Students here are quite aware of local and gloal issues. These i reallly like a lot. Sometimes i would like to have more free time and less stress, but i guess that is a part of learning and getting ready for life.
Macalester Academic Life
Quite small classes, professors are very approachable, classes can be really demanding and difficult but in most cases there is comprihension from the professors. Many students do research with their professors. The communication with them is quite informal. There is always an emphasis towards finding and applying for a job. A good preparation for that.
Macalester's Student Body
People here need to know what they stand for and what they believe in. That is a way of succeeding. Yet you meet many interesting and fun people, from different countries, backgrounds and with different ideas. There is always the chance of getting to know somebody everyday.
Macalester Student Activities + Social Life
Many many organizations and things to do. What we need more is time to do everything. Being close to the cities, increases a lot the opportunities of internships, offcampus jobs as well as the entertaining opportunities.
