OWU: The Big Picture
The best thing about OWU is the people at the school. OWU has some of the most diverse and unique individuals I have ever met. Even though the student body is not very large, there are still tons of people you can meet in many different ways. Greek life is huge on campus. There is no better way to get involved on campus or to meet people than to join a fraternity or sorority. It is much more fun to hang out at a fraternity than in the slums of Delaware. Delaware is a nice place during the day because there are families taking walks together, there are a lot of restaurants and things to do that are open, etc. However, at night the town is a little scary. There are drunks and townies coming home from the bar who try and talk to you and its creepy sometimes. Finally, one thing about OWU that many people do not like is Public Safety. They spend too much time making sure people aren't drinking in dorm rooms and that cars parked in the lots have permits when they should be making sure the student body is safe. And that means keeping creepy townies away from students.
OWU Academic Life
The academics at OWU are tough in some classes and easy in others. Depending on the major and what classes you are signed up for you changes how much you will have to study but no one coasts through classes easily. Many people fail out or transfer after freshman year due to academics. Professors know the names of the students and some classes are more rewarding than others. The academic advising program needs to be better though. I have a hard time talking to my academic advisor about classes.
OWU's Student Body
As a whole, the student body at OWU is very involved. This includes greek life, clubs, organizations, etc. If you decide to not get involved then you will not like the school. There is not much to do for people who spend too much of their time locked away in their dorm room playing Warcraft
OWU Student Activities + Social Life
The social life is also very big some nights more than others, mostly because Public Safety breaks up and parties before they get too fun. Students usually leave their dorm room doors open and invite anyone to come in and say hi or hang out. Athletic events usually attract a lot of people especially football even though they suck. There is not a lot to do on campus other than drink on weekends. There is a close by movie theatre and Polaris Mall is close but people usually don't travel that far on weekend nights. On weeknights, a lot of people are usually at the library either hanging out or doing serious work.

OWU is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone! I have met a lot of my closest friends here and I enjoy it very much! Go Bishops
