Quinnipiac: The Big Picture
Good: The campus is beautiful and small enough to easily make to each of your classes without a bicycle. The library is now open 24hr/7days/week which is great for studying.
Bad: The is very little cultural and racial diversity. I'm from a diverse background and found myself in culture shock when first arrived. Every year there seems to be some sort of racial or sexual abuse event which I think is unusual for a school this small. Worse yet, the administration doesn't seem to care.
Quinnipiac Academic Life
Quinnipiac has some great academic programs at the Master's level. Their Physician and Pathology Assistant programs are very high ranked. I DONT recommend this school for a science oriented four year degree because their science equipment is very outdated. For example we had scopes from the 50's with a single eyepiece!!
Quinnipiac Student Activities + Social Life
If you live in the dorms, they have a shuttle that will picky you up from the bars and bring you back to the dorms. I thought this was a nice amenity although I believe it encouraged underage drinking.
Quinnipiac Naked Truth
I felt uncomfortable at this school as a half-white student because of the comments made towards me and events that occurred on campus. I believe the student population is aware of the problem and is attempting to change student attitudes however administration doesn't seem to give a damn. Administration talks about reprimanding those engaged in racist behavior/acts but have yet to act.
