You won’t find many slackers or party animals at the College of William and Mary. As one of the nation’s oldest and most competitive liberal arts schools, it attracts students who are smart, passionate, and, some may say, overachievers. Students here spend a lot of time at the library, studying hard to keep up with demanding assignments and exams. Still, they usually still find the time to get involved with at least one of the 500 student organizations on campus.

Shortly after graduating Shawn Boyer launched SnagAJob.com, a niche employment website. Over the years SnagAJob has raised over forty million dollars from investors; and Boyer was named the USA's Small Business Person of the

Year in 2008 by the Small Business Administration, and SnagAJob was ranked the best small business to work for by the Great Place to Work Institute.

But just because the students at W&M are driven doesn't mean they don't know how to play. Since graduating Sara Schaefer has become a successful comedian, writer, and producer, with her project 'The Nikki and Sara Show' (with fellow comedian Nikki Glaser) has been picked up by MTV and is slated to debut in late 2012/early 2013. Other recent successful graduates and attendees include journalist Edward Srour; and a number of athletes, including Bill Bray, Adin Brown, Lang Campbell, Brendan Harris, Adam Hess, Mike Leach, and Adrian Tracy.
