As a student, you’ve got enough to worry about. We’re here to make your life easier. Here are a few ways that Facecard can help you handle your finances:
Budgeting. At the beginning of each month, determine how much you have to spend and put that amount on your Facecard. Once you have spent all of the money on your card, then it’s time to stop spending. You’ll be thankful when the new month rolls around. Wave goodbye to the days of credit card debt and hefty overdraft fees.
Allowance. There’s no need to wait for checks in the mail when you have a Facecard in your wallet. When you sign up for a Facecard, have your parent sign up too. You can even sign up for a joint account if you’d like. Your parent will be able to load money to your account online from anywhere, anytime.
Paycheck. Do you have a job this school year? If so, have your paycheck directly deposited into your Facecard account and payday will be stress-free.
IOUs and Paybacks. Are you writing your roommate a check for the cable bill every month? Make it easier on yourself and on your roommate and get a Facecard. When the next cable bill arrives, you can add money to her Facecard at the click of a button.
Your birthday. We all have that family member who gives interesting gifts that go straight to the top of the closet. This year, tell them that you are saving up to buy yourself a new iPod and would love money on your Facecard. You’re saving them a trip to the mall and getting something that you’ve been wanting all year.
Emergency Situations. What would you do if your car broke down on the side of the road on the way to Spring Break? Or you were on a date and realized that you didn’t have enough money to pay the tab? Don’t worry! Call a friend or family member and have them add money to your Facecard from theirs. The money will be available to you instantly and the crisis is averted. Now that’s peace of mind.
These are just a few ways that Facecard can help you handle your finances.
