Denison University has the reputation of being a traditional campus. It was founded in the 1800s, switched from being religious-affiliated to a non-secular college, and gained university status after creating graduate programs. Now, this might all sound familiar and even a little boring, but there are some things about Denison that you may think are not so traditional, and might even be plain weird.

This doesn’t mean that Denison lied or even misrepresented the facts — it just means that certain qualities or situations about the school were different from what I have experienced. Denison has done a worthy job this fall bringing the election to campus. A bus visited campus in early September carrying both the Ohio governor and Ohio senator in an attempt to gain the students’ support for Obama. The library and student center have each made voter registration forms available for students to fill out to become voters in Ohio.
