Students can choose to live on either Becker’s Leicester campus or its Worcester campus. At both sites, Becker offers single-sex, coed, over-21, and all-freshman dormitories.
Residential buildings on the Worcester campus include Beeches, Bullock, Cedar, Colton, Davis, Lincoln, Linden, Maple, Miller, Merrill Hall, and Willow Hall. The Leicester campus includes Hampshire Hall, May Hall, Susan Knight Hall, Hitchcock Hall, Winslow Hall, Berkshire Hall, and Lane Hall.
Dr. Joseph W. Bascuas is Becker College’s interim president. Before he took the position at Becker, Dr. Bascuas served as the president of Medaille College in New York for four years. He has also worked for the Argosy Education Group, at Antioch/New England Graduate School, and at Salve Regina University.
Dr. Bascuas earned a B.A. in psychology from LaSalle University and an M.A. in psychology and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Temple University.
Eli Whitney (Leicester Academy, 1786) was an inventor.
Thomas Hill (Leicester Academy, 1837) was the president of Harvard University.
Elliott P. Joslin (Leicester Academy, 1886) was a pioneer in medical use of insulin.
Franklin M. Loew is an animal ethicist and former president of Becker College.
Ed Fendell (Becker Junior College, 1951) is a former head of a NASA division.
Colleen Barrett (Becker Junior College, 1964) is a former president of Southwest Airlines.
Penny Bacchiochi (Becker Junior College, 1981) is a Connecticut state representative.
