Yes, there are many students who application fees are waived depending on their EFC or on campus personnel who can waive for a special circumstance. The key is to ask!

Yes. Application fees are waived based on financial need. Some colleges waive their application fee if you use an on-line application. Other collees waive their application fee if you visit the college, prior to submitting the application.

Yes. The majority of colleges accept College Board fee waiver. If you use an SAT Fee Waiver from College Board (usually provided by your high school counselor), you can receive 4 college application fee waivers. Many colleges also consider letters of hardship or other situations (such as students who are Ward of the Court).

Absolutely! This may sound obvious, but just ask. Many schools offer application fee waivers to candidates during information sessions, at recruiting events as well as open house events. Some schools even have the waiver code/option right on the website as a way to encourage applicants to apply early. Yes! If you qualify through the FAFSA, you can get fee waivers from the counseling department at your school. The waivers are necessary for the state schools and universities. Absolutely, College Board, ACT, as well as NACAC offer application waivers. You should see your high school counselor for College Board and ACT waivers. NACAC waivers, I believe you can get online and have a school official complete the form for you.
