The profs. are in credible, they know when to push a student to do better and they know when to lay off. The study abroad opprotunities are also great.

Michael

The best feature of Wabash College comes from the level of engagement that all of the students have. An entire class can be based on discussion between the professor and the students. Even when classes are over, the students will sit together and discuss or debate issues brought up in class. Wabash College accepts students who have a thirst and a passion for knowledge, making it the most unique and inspiring institution I have ever encountered.

I appreciate a lot of qualities of this school. First it is not a college town - so the real world is right on our doorsteps; keeps us real: low-midclass rural America is right outside my window. Second is the rigorous academics. Third is that I am allowed, by design, to be a true student-athlete, so I have little problem excelling in both areas simultaneously. Fourth is the all-men, not because I am sexist but: class participation is higher, more focus during the week on academics, atmosphere great, hightened desire to achieve, and a greater appretiation of women.

The best thing about this college is that it is very challenging. Many of the students that attend Wabash breezed through high school and managed to attain high honors without much effort. However, these same students will not succeed at Wabash if they do not dedicate time and effort into their scholastics. This fosters maturity and better work ethics. Having students throughout the world that find this college challenging is best quality of Wabash.

Brad

The strong sense of community with not only other students, but with faculty and especially the alumni. Alums of this college are very proud of their alma mater, and while many of the current students enjoy complaining about it, they do not generally take criticism from others outside the college.

Seth

The college prepares its students for graduate school and the job market well.

Anton

The best thing about my school is the amount of personal attention that I get from professors. The school is small enough that I interact with my professors on a very personal level. This is important to me because I know that if I do not understand something or need help with something I can go to my professors and they are willing to help me.

Christopher

The best thing about the school is the liberal arts education. Wabash has the ability to educate its to be well rounded, well versed citizens. They can prepare you for graduate work as well as getting the first job. The faculty and professors really care about their students and want them to work hard. They challenge us and frustrate more times than we wish. But in the end, it is always worth it.

Bradley

The way it forces every student to work hard. The learning is rigorous, and it takes a lot of hard work to accel. It is hard work during the week, and fun on the weekends. Students know when it's time to work, and they know when it's time to have fun. It teaches every student what it means to be a gentleman, and encourages a way of life.

Grady

I honestly believe the best thing about Wabash is that it is one of the few remaining all-male institutions remaining in the country. We seperate ourselves from other schools because of this. Employers know that a Wabash man is someone who works hard and knows his stuff. I feel like i have less distractions here because it is all males and I can focus more on scholastics and ahletics. I've only been here for a short time, but i couldn't see myself anywere else.

Adam

The best thing about Wabash is the passion that everyone seems to possess. The alumni will do anything in their power to help you land your dream job and the faculty on campus really want to see you succeed. Everyone has each others back and you get the feeling that we are a close group of brothers.

Nick

Alums and opportunities. There are many sucessful alums and many immersion trips.

William

How open the discussions are in the classroom. This is very important because this type of classroom can help develop a student more because they are participating in class. The students can grasp and understand what it takes to think critically, act responsibly, and live humanely.

Zhuoxin

cohesion within student body and personal attention from instructors; it is of great help to be able to build more intimate relationships with fellow students and professors

Jacob

Wabash's faculty and course selection, as Liberal Arts institutions are known for, are intriguing.

Craig

School spirit is one of the strongest things about this campus. It also has rigorous academics, a good acceptance rate into law and medical schools (grad schools in general), and an excellent faculty-student ratio.

Jamie

The best thing about my school is the professors. They are always willing to help out.

Stephen

The best thing about Wabash College is the unity of the school. Fraternity men don't consider themselves to be Phi Psi's, Lambda Chi's, or Beta's; they consider themselves as Wabash Gentlemen. No student is an outsider or looked down upon at by others. Everyone is respected for his own unique character that he brings to being a Wabash Gentlemen. In fact, most problems that occur between students are resolved respectfully by the student body.

Matt

Joe

The best thing about this college is the networking among students currently here and also the alumni. We network both on campus with many different types of functions and we all love the college sports.

Christian

The best thing about my school is that it is small and selective. This means that class sizes are very small compared to larger universities. The average class size is about 12 students, and with Wabash College being selective (and hence enrolling the cream of the crop), every student is able to contribute to class discussions with quality remarks. The small number of students also means that professors get to know their students, even freshmen, very well. Most professors even host dinners at their houses with undergraduate students.

Robert

I consider the close relationships you develop with your friends to be very imporant.

Robert

The ability of the students to run their own business and keep the campus alive. Students are connected to one another and aren't afraid to share ideas.
