Overall, I love Davidson. Everyone loves Davidson, even though we complain about the workload sometimes. School is too small. People usually haven't heard of Davidson. Spend most of my time at the baseball field, at parties, and in my room. Davidson's administration wants to make it as close as possible to a boarding high school.

School pride went through the roof with the success of the Men's Basketball team this spring. For the most part, since it is such a small school, students aren't able to make it to many sporting events other than basketball and football because they are either doing their own thing (i think about 1/3 play and inter-collegiate sport) or because they are doing work. Davidson is a great place. I debated about coming here because of the distance and also the size of the school. However, the school can be as big or small as you want it to be depending on whether or not you get involved, and the smallness of the school is definitely an advantage in my opinion. Davidson is situated in a wonderful little town that supports the college in many ways. The Davidson townspeople will come to basketball games, trick-or-treat down the residence halls, hang signs rooting for the Wildcats from their houses, and are generally very welcoming to students. The best thing about Davidson is that you could drop your credit card in the middle of the Student Union and somehow it would make it back to your room, on your pillow, with a little chocolate next to it. All in all, I love how homey the whole campus is, even during a gross rainy day/

The best thing about Davidson is the sense of community you feel when you walk around the school. It's safe and small- I have never felt threatened walking around late at night. It's also really nice to see people you recognize every single day, whether you know their names or not. Davidson is the perfect college for me. I love the small size and being able to know most people that you pass when walking around campus.
