What are some stereotypes about FIU students?

They we're smart enough to not go to miami-dade college, but not smart enough to get into University of Miami.

Are the stereotypes accurate?

Absolutely not, many chose FIU for its great business school, and our new law and medical schools.

This is definetly a commuter school, the best thing is to get involved on campus.

There are several courses, like college algebra and economics, that have teachers that are great at what they do but can not teach the material to students in a way that they can actually gain knowledge.
