Ithaca: The Big Picture
Ithaca College is a very changeling school and most people that don't go to this school think it is easy. It is a great studying environment but I wish their were more activities other than the ones on Friday night. Everything that Ithaca College has for fun is on the Cornell side of town and you usually have to take the bus or get a ride from the expensive taxi.
Ithaca Academic Life
Professor at Ithaca are pretty cool they get to know your name because the classes are not that big. My least favorite class is finance but I do like my professor she is really nice and helpful the material is just challenging.
Ithaca's Student Body
It is not very diverse. They lie on the covers of the phamlets and just take pictures of minority students. Most of the minority students end up leaving after a year of being in Ithaca. I think that Ithaca College should focus on keeping minorities here rather than just recruiting them.
Ithaca Student Activities + Social Life
Their are many clubs on campus such as Sister to Sister,which I am on the E-Board. We try to break the social boundaries and racial barriers. We also talk about issues that women have on campus and in the real world. There is also Brothers for Brothers which is similar to Sister to Sister we get together to do community service as well.
Their are unfortunately no fraternities or sororities on Ithaca College campus but there are plenty on Cornell's campus.
