What are some stereotypes about Pepperdine students?

Some stereotypes are that the students are very religious, conservative, and stubborn/arrogant.
Pepperdine is seen as a religious institution that does not tolerate fun. It is seen as a "puritan" institution by many.

Are the stereotypes accurate?

The stereotype about the students being very religious is accurate. Students take pride in their religion and feel that pepperdine will help them get closer to being a spiritual christian. The students, however, are not stubborn and arrogant. Students are generally warm and friendly and are almost always looking to make a new friend.
Pepperdine is a dry campus, but this does not mean it does not tolerate fun. The campus has enough student activites to keep the active student interested and the studious student focused. I have never been bored at Pepperdine.

What's the worst thing about Pepperdine?
Located in a quiet town. Malibu shuts down at about 8 p.m. every night.

What's the best thing about Pepperdine?
Family atmosphere, accesible professors, spiritual atmosphere, diverse student body from all regions of the US.
