The College of Idaho is a welcoming and honoring school to be a part of. The environment is extremely open and feels like home. It is easy to communicate and make connections with peers, administrators, and coaches. Campus safety is extremely accessible and kind. Students are encouraged to be involved in both the college and community and continue to be included in other activities. The PEAK Major system allows students to be able to graduate with one major and emphasize in three additional separate majors. Or, if the student would like, they can make flexible schedules for them to double major and have one emphasized minor.

Lindsey

Unique environment: high population of athletes and very smart kids. I would recommend double-checking the PEAK program to verify that everything you want to major in isn't under the same category. Look at the internship/ job opportunities in comparison to other schools.

Logan

A great small school with an amazingly supportive community. Professors, administrators and even alumni work together to help student succeed in school and beyond. The community is close knit and caring. Over the College of Idaho is impressive in all aspects

Kayleigh

Overall, I love this school so much. The environment, professors, and other students make this school great. I am so blessed to be able to attend such a prestigious college that really cares about my success. The only downfall is that it is very expensive to attend this school.

The College of Idaho FAQS

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for The College of Idaho is 84%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If i could return to my senior year and talk to myself about my future, the first thing i would tell myself would be not to give up. I started college soon after i graduated and instead of knowing a lot about scholarships i applied for student loans because it was the only way i could continue my education. I would tell myself to keep on track and apply for as many scholarships as i could because people in the world DO want to help young adults through education. I would make sure I did not give up because of the debt i owe in loans, I would not let myself be scared to reach for my dreams of becoming someone important and smart.
