The University of West Florida is a mid-sized institution located on a sprawling 1,600-acre campus in the historic Pensacola Bay Area.
UWF students benefit from affordable in-state tuition and personal attention from professors. The college enrolls 8,500 undergraduates who study on the second-largest campus in the University of Florida system, which is also a nature preserve. Located just a short drive from miles of white sand and surfing, Pensacola’s scenery makes up for the lack of wild college town nights. The university is best known for its business, education, math, science, communications, engineering and health concentrations. In addition to a wide variety of majors, students can choose from over 300 online courses offered with an out-of-state tuition waiver. While only 14% of students live on campus, the community is tight-knit and fairly diverse.
