Here are some tips from college counselors on how to make the most of your college search and visits. An important aspect of preparing for your visit is to plan ahead. Know what you want to get out of the visit and do your research on the schools ahead of time. This will help you make the most of your time on campus. When you’re on campus, be sure to talk to as many people as possible. The students, faculty, and staff can tell you a lot about the school. And don’t forget to ask lots of questions! Finally, be realistic about what you can and can’t accomplish in a visit. Don’t try to see everything in one day. Instead, focus on the things that are most important to you. To further help you prepare, we asked real college counselors to answer these important questions. See what they have to say!
