Help Stop Bullying by Sharing Your Stories

By Unigo Editors
Students face bullying every day. For GLBT students, in particular, support is often hard to find. We’re trying to show bullying victims they’re not alone and things will get better. To that end, we’re asking for your help.

Upload a video on describing your experiences with being bullied, how you handled it (or put a stop to it), and why it’s important to have hope for the future. Your video may become part of an important panel discussion, and screening of In The Life Media's Bullycides for National Bullying Prevention Month sponsored by the New York Times GLBT & Allies Affinity Group. Other participating organizations include, Live Out Loud, (GLSEN) Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, The Trevor Project, the NBC LGBT Affinity Group, the Hetrick-Martin Institute, In The Life Media, and the Pacer Center.

Your voice counts. Please share your story.

See Dan Savage and his partner Terry share their encounters with bullies. Find out more about the ItGetsBetterProject here.
