I am a German student at University Kiel. My University back home has corporate agreements with a few Universities in America; this is where I heard and learned about Alliant International University. I choose this one because of the good business program with Marshall Goldsmith School of Management (MGSM); "this University was ranked two years in a row by U.S. News and World Report as #1 in the United States in the percentage of undergraduate international students." In addition to that, I have the opportunity to do my Double-Bachelor, which means that I will graduate in the United States, as well as in Germany. This will took me an additional half year; my study therefore takes 3 1/2 years.
The Alliant International University offers many degrees: Phd, PsyD, DBA, EdD, JD, MA/MS, MBA/MIBA/MPA, BA/BS. The campus is located in Southern California, San Diego. Furthermore, the University has five more campuses in California: Fresno, Irvine, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco; outside the United States, there are campus locations in Mexico City, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
The University in San Diego is famous for its diverse student population and I really enjoy the different cultures at school; nearly 80 percent are from foreign countries. This is a really good opportunity not only to learn from the professors, but even more from the students. Eventhough the campus has approximately 4,300 students, we have small class sizes with 15 to 20 students. The classes are really interesting and I enjoy the exchange with the professors, discussions with my classmates, and the activities on campus. Alliant International University is offering evening onsite classes (6pm-10pm) and online classes, which fit perfect to a working schedule.
