SET Educational Fund Scholarship

This scholarship is available for undergraduate students in Michigan who are attending or planning to attend an accredited, public university in Michigan. Selection of awards is based on academic merit, financial harship, and involvement with community service.

LSSU Senator Philip A. Hart Memorial Scholarship

Michigan high school seniors or older students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and plan to attend Lake Superior State University are eligible for this award. Applicants must demonstrate interest in public service, as reflected through leadership roles and volunteer activities in their school and community.

LSSU Board of Trustees Academic Excellence Transfer Scholarship

U.S. undergraduate students planning to transfer to Lake Superior State University in Michigan are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average between 3.5-3.79 and will be considered upon admission.

LSSU Board of Trustees Academic Honors Transfer Scholarship

U.S. undergraduate students planning to transfer to Lake Superior State University in Michigan are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.3-3.49 and will be considered upon admission.

LSSU Board of Trustees Distinguished Transfer Scholarship

U.S. undergraduate students planning to transfer to Lake Superior State University in Michigan are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher and will be considered upon admission.

LSSU Board of Trustees Distinguished Scholarship

U.S. graduating high school seniors who are residents of Michigan planning to attend Lake Superior State University are eligible for this award. Applicants must meet a minimum of 185 points based on the combination of grade point average and ACT composite score.

Michigan Competitive Scholarship

This award is available to Michigan resident undergraduate students who are enrolled at an approved Michigan postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate both financial need and merit and must achieve a qualifying ACT score prior to entering college.
