SWE Judy Simmons Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is open to female undergraduate and graduate students who are members of SWE and majoring in engineering or computer science. Students must attend a college/university with an active SWE chapter in the Region G area.

Ray Fowler/Armstrong Family Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and undergraduates who are members of the Lyon County (KY) Chapter of the Future Farmers of America and plan to attend Murray State University, Western Kentucky State University, or the University of Kentucky. Students must pursue a four-year degree in any area of agriculture, with preference for agricultural education or animal science. Students’ families must exhibit financial need.

Warren K. Brown Scholarship

This award is for U.S. and international college juniors who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. Priority will be given to students attending Murray State University in Murray, KY or Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN. The applicant must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Linda & Brad Giles Scholarship

This award is for international and U.S. college juniors who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. The applicant must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students with a military background attending Murray State University, Oakland or Central Missouri University will have priority.

Harold F. Polston Scholarship

This award is for U.S. college juniors and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health or a closely related field. The applicant must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Bechtel Foundation Scholarship Program for Safety and Health

This award is for college juniors who are pursuing a degree in occupational safety and health with an emphasis on construction safety. The applicant must enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Priority will be given to students with an emphasis in construction safety attending Murray State in Murray, Kentucky; Montana Tech in Butte, Montana; or Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA.

Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES)

This award is available for Kentucky high school students who are planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in Kentucky. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Kentucky Early Childhood Development Scholarship

This award is available to Kentucky resident students who are pursuing a degree or certificate in early childhood education at an eligible postsecondary institution in Kentucky. The student must be employed in an eligible capacity in the early childhood education field.

KHEAA Teacher Scholarship

This scholarship is available for Kentucky undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing an initital teacher certification. Priority is given to Juniors, seniors, and graduate level students.

College Access Program (CAP)

This award is to Kentucky resident undergraduate students who are attending or planning to attend an eligible Kentucky postsecondary institution. Students must demonstrate financial need, as determined by completing the FAFSA.
