USAC Honors Program Scholarship This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno Honors Program students. Students must be in good standing, participate in a program of at least 3 weeks in length, have completed at least 15 Honors credits and 32 total credits and be pursuing Honors credit through the study abroad experience.
USAC College-Specific Scholarship This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno students with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher, and your application will be reviewed by the home college(s) of your declared major(s). USAC First Gen NV Scholarship This scholarship is available to current UNR TRiO Scholars and current/former UNR First in the Pack participants at the University of Nevada, Reno, have not previously studied abroad in college, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must also attend a study abroad workshop prior to the application deadline in order to be considered.
R.J. Simcoe Memorial Scholarship University of Nevada, Reno students who are Nevada residents, hold a minimum 2.75 GPA, and are attending any Spain program are eligible. Eligible students must also have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1. Two $500 awards will be given each fall.
Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation Scholarship This scholarship is available to University of Nevada, Reno students who hold a 3.0 GPA or higher, graduated from a Carson City, Douglas, or Washoe County high school, are first-generation and/or demonstrate high financial need (EFC under $8000), and have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1.
USAC Mullen, Hidalgo, Sandoval Scholarship Sean Mullen is a Reno native and USAC alumnus who studied on the Santiago, Chile program and named this scholarship in honor of his Chilean host family. This $1500 scholarship is available in the fall and spring semesters to University of Nevada, Reno students who meet their program minimum GPA.
USAC: Félix Menchacatorre Memorial Scholarship (San Sebastián or Bilbao, Spain) $500 scholarships are available each semester to degree-seeking students with a minimum 2.75 GPA, attending the San Sebastián or Bilbao program, and preference is given to yearlong students. University of Nevada, Reno students must also have completed their MyNevada General Scholarship Application by February 1 to be eligible.
Yvonne and Dick Lierz Scholarship Fund U.S. students enrolling as first- or second-year undergraduate students at any public Idaho or Nevada institution are eligible. Students must have demonstrated volunteer involvement in at least one charitable activity benefiting the community; Applicants with GPAs of 2.8 or lower are also encouraged to apply.
