Ted Hanekamp Scholarship

In 2006, Ted was inducted into the University of Kentucky College Public Health Hall of Fame and also very active in the Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA). This scholarship will be administered by KPHA and the amount will be based upon funds raised by KPHA and matched by UKCPH not to exceed $10,000 each calendar year.

Arkansas Public Health Association Scholarship for High School Seniors

This award is available for high school seniors in Arkansas who plan to major in a field related to public health. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate unmet financial need. Applicants must become a student member of the state APHA organization (student memberships are $5) to be eligible.

Connie Scheffer Public Health Endowed Scholarship

U.S. nursing students who are residents of Kansas and attend a college or university in Kansas are eligible. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Registered nurses pursuing a bachelor’s of science in the public health setting; graduate and postgraduate students in public health nursing or public health are considered.

CANFit Undergraduate Scholarship

This award is available for minority students who are currently enrolled in a fitness or nutrition program at an accredited California college or university. The applicant must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and have completed at least 50 credit hours toward his/her degree at the time of application.

NEHA/AAS Scholarship

This award is for U.S. students majoring in environmental health who are enrolled in an approved college/university that is accredited by the Environmental Health Accreditation Council or is a NEHA Educational or Sustaining Member School. Catherine E. Philbin Public Health Scholarship

This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are legal residents of Massachusetts. Students must be studying public health. Applicants must submit a completed application form postmarked no later than March 1 and other needed documentation listed on the provider site.

Florence Young Memorial Scholarship

This award is for U.S. graduate students who are enrolled in a federally recognized American Indian or Alaska Native tribe. Students must be pursuing a degree in art, law, or medicine. Tylenol Future Care Scholarship

The Tylenol Future Care scholarship honors students pursuing a healthcare-related education. This scholarship is available to residents of the U.S., Puerto Rico and D.C. who have completed one or more years of a healthcare major. The applicants will be judged on leadership qualities and academic performance.
