Connecticut Broadcasters Association From advocacy to compliance to connections, the CBA advocates to protect our members ability to serve their communities, help broadcasters understand the complex and ever-changing regulations on our industry, and we provide special interest and management seminars year round. The CBA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization.
Jasdeep Singh Scholarship Applicants need to be the first in their household family to attend post-secondary education at a certified institution, Matriculating freshman or sophomores as of Summer or Fall of 2021. One scholarship will be awarded to a Connecticut resident, the other can be from any other state or the District of Columbia.
Hartford Dental Society Scholarship Dental students who reside in Connecticut, are in their third or fourth year at a New England dental school, and who are in academic good standing are eligible to apply for Hartford Dental Society Scholarships. Award amounts depend on donations.
David Knapp Scholarship This scholarship is available for LGBT students and straight allies who reside in or are attending an institution of education in Connecticut.
Ronald A. Copes Scholarship Fund The Ronald A. Copes Scholarship Fund is available for graduating high school seniors in Springfield, MA or Hartford, CT who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Energize Your Education Scholarship The Energize Your Education Scholarship is available for high school seniors in Connecticut, Ohio, and Texas who have a grade point average of 3.2 or higher. To apply, applicants must submit an essay on the listed topic.
Cloutier-Valenti Legacy Scholarship The Cloutier-Valenti Legacy Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at: Lee High School in Lee, MA; Norwich Free Academy, Norwich, CT; or Cape Henlopen High School, Lewes, DE.
Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Scholarship Fund This scholarship is open to U.S. students who reside in Roxbury, Connecticut, and are pursuing a postsecondary education at a two or four year junior college, college, university, technical school, or other institution offering post-graduate study/training. Students must have a grade point average of B- or higher; preference is given to current/former members (or junior corps members) of the Roxbury Fire Department (or direct descendants).
Rover College Scholarship This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Students must submit an essay on the current year’s topic.
PICPA Student Writing Competition This writing competition is open to graduate and undergraduate accounting and business majors. Students must attend Pennsylvania colleges/universities or maintain a permanent residence in Pennsylvania.
