This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Students must submit an essay on the current year’s topic.

Centenary University Out of State Grant

This grant is open to U.S. students who are incoming first-time freshmen or transfer students at Centenary University in New Jersey and are not New Jersey residents. Students must demonstrate financial need.

Owanah Anderson Scholarship

This scholarship is open to female U.S. students who are entering their junior year of college. Students must be members of a federally recognized American Indian or Alaskan Native tribe.

Pedro Zamora Young Leaders Scholarship Program

This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who demonstrate an active commitment to fighting HIV/AIDS and taking on roles of public service and leadership. Students must be 27 years of age or younger, and must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

‘Signal Grace’ Scholarship Essay Contest

This essay contest is open to U.S. high school and college students who submit an essay on the book “Signal Grace” by T.M. Yates. Students must attend a U.S. institution, except for students residing in or attending school in Rhode Island.

Maine Dental Education Loan Program

This forgivable loan program is open to Maine students who are admitted to a program of dentistry at an accredited institution of dental education, leading to a D.M.D. or D.D.S degree. Recipients must practice general dentistry full time in an underserved area of Maine in an eligible dental care facility to qualify for loan forgiveness.

Antonio Cirino Memorial Fellowship

This fellowship program is open to Rhode Island residents who need financial assistance to acquire education toward a master’s or doctorate in order to pursue a teaching career in the arts. Applicants may not be a Rhode Island School of Design graduate or seeking a graduate degree from RISD.

APA Latinos and Planning Division Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Latino students who intend to work as a practicing professional planner in the non-profit, public or private sector. Students must be enrolled in the third or fourth year of a PAB-accredited undergraduate planning program or the first or second year of a PAB-accredited graduate planning program.
