James W. Stoudt Memorial Law School Scholarship

The James W. Stoudt Memorial Scholarship Fund of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation honors one of the Pennsylvania Bar’s steadfast supporters – the late James (“Jim”) W. Stoudt. 2 of 3 , $3,000 awards will support minority law students attending any one of the approved nine accredited law schools presently serving Pennsylvania.

Craig D. Butler Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor the life of Craig D. Butler and to continue his legacy of integrity, generosity and service. Applicants must be of African-American descent, with a GPA of at east 3.0, pursuing higher education whether at a college, university or vocational-technical school.

Ralph H. and Florence Moyer Scholarship Fund

This award is open to residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania, who are pursuing postsecondary education for vocational or technical training, i.e., developing a skill/expertise in a specific field of study. Students must be 18 to 30 years of age at time of application and have a financial need.

Seidel Family Scholarship Fund (Gettysburg College Attendees)

This scholarship is open to students who have resided in Berks County, Pennsylvania, for two or more consecutive years and are enrolled at Gettysburg College in a pre-law related course of study. Students must have completed at least one semester of college at time of application; entering freshmen are not eligible to apply.

Thomas T. and Christine Hegeman Wheatley Memorial Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to U.S. incoming and current college students who will be pursuing an education in one of the following medical fields: EMT, paramedics, phlebotomy, or nursing. Students must be residents of Berks County, Pennsylvania, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Delta Kappa Gamma International Beta Chapter Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is open to U.S. female college juniors who graduated from one of the public high schools in Berks County, Penn., and currently attend certain postsecondary institutions in Berks County. Students must be pursuing a degree in elementary or secondary education and have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Chaffin Luhana Anti-Distracted Driving Scholarship

The Chaffin Luhana Anti-Distracted Driving Scholarship is an essay contest open to currently enrolled U.S. students who are 25 years of age or younger. Applicants must submit an original essay offering a unique and practical perspectives on the dangers posed by distracted drivers.

PICPA Student Writing Competition

This writing competition is open to graduate and undergraduate accounting and business majors. Students must attend Pennsylvania colleges/universities or maintain a permanent residence in Pennsylvania.
