The Society of Women Engineers is a member agency whose mission is to empower women within the engineering industry. One way they do this is through scholarship programs. There are 8 Exxon Mobil Engineering Scholarships of $2,500 each for freshman studying CE, ChE, EE, PetE, or mechanical engineering who have at least a 3.5 GPA.

For the Minorities in STEM scholarship, the applicant should include information about organizations they’ve been a part of and/or what they’re done in their community to support and promote minority leadership. The winner will be announced no later then May 1.

RBIEF Scholarship
The main goal of RBIEF is to offer financial assistance through full or matching tuition and program funding for MBIA members, member’s employees, family and students whenever funding is available. In 2019, RBIEF awarded $7,500 in?scholarship?funds to 7 students, and one marine industry educator for advanced education.
M. Hildred Blewett Fellowship
The fellowship is designed for assisting women in making a transition back into a professional career. Consequently, funds are generally not available for renewal beyond one year of support. Applicants must be a U.S. or Canadian citizens or legal residents and have completed work toward a Ph.D.
Chrysalis Scholarship
The Chrysalis Scholarship provides degree-completion funding for women geoscience grad students whose education has been significantly interrupted by life circumstances. Awarded funds aim to cover costs related to completion of her thesis/dissertation, beyond what is traditionally covered by primary research funding.
Lew Williams and Leila Sulkes Scholarships
The Lew Williams and Leila Sulkes Scholarships are awards of $2000 from the Freehold Branch of the AAUW, for the academic year 2020-2021 are available for qualified applicants. Named for outstanding volunteers, funding for the Lew Williams and Leila Sulkes. Applications are due July 31 each year.
