Exemption for Orphans of Texas Members of the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard
This award is available to Texas resident undergraduate students who are dependent children of an individual who died as a result of injury or illness related to service in the U.S. military or the National Guard. Applicants must attend a public college or university in Texas.
Exemption for Texas Veterans (Hazlewood Exemption)
This award is available to honorably discharged or separated Texas veterans and to eligible dependent children and spouses of Texas veterans who are planning to attend a public Texas college or university.
Exemption for Children of U.S. Military who are Missing in Action or Prisoners of War (MIA/POWs)
This award is available to Texas resident undergradaute students who are children of persons listed as Missing in Action or Prisoners of War by the U.S. Department of Defense. The applicant must be 21 years of age or younger at the time of application.
Spouse Education Assistance Program
This scholarship is open to spouses of active duty or retired Army soldiers and widow(er)s of soldiers who died on active duty or in retired status to pursue their first undergraduate degree. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher; scholarships are based on financial need.
MG James Ursano Scholarship Fund
The dependents of Army soldiers who are under 23 years of age and enrolling full time in an undergraduate program are eligible for this award. Students must be unmarried, be registered in the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS), and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
Texas Military State Tuition Reimbursement Program
This award is available for Texas undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Texas National Guard, Texas Air National Guard, or the Texas State Guard. Applicants must attend a Texas public or private non-profit college or university.
AFCEA ROTC Scholarship
U.S. college sophomores or juniors enrolled in ROTC are eligible for this award. Students must major in fields that are directly related to the mission of AFCEA and must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
NY Veterans Tuition Award
This award is available to U.S. students who are veterans of the armed forces of the United States who served in hostilities that occurred after February 28, 1961. Students must be studying in an approved program at an undergraduate or graduate degree-granting institution or in an approved vocational training program in New York State.
Fla. Scholarship for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans
This award is available for Florida undergraduate students who are attending an eligible college or university in Florida.
