Army/Baylor DPT Program The Army and Baylor University recruit and select highly-qualified individuals from the civilian sector, active duty or Army Reserve. Selectees complete basic officer training, paid study toward a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) and complete service once they graduate.
health services collegiate program (HCSP) The Navy HCSP program offers $157,000 up to $269,000 while finishing medical school, dental school or qualifying postgraduate school. After graduation, selectees become an Officer and serve in Navy health care as a physician, dentist, nurse, HC administrator, HC scientist or clinical care provider.
Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) The Navy HPSP program offers 100 percent of the cost of medical school, dental school or qualifying postgraduate school tuition plus a monthly sum of $2,200 and sign on bonus of up to $10,000. In return, selectees sign a service obligation which they fulfill after graduation.
Nurse Candidate Program (NCP) The Navy NCP program offers up to $34,000 to help offset the costs of nursing school. It includes an initial $10,000 grant plus a monthly stipend of $1,000 for up to 24 months while earning your degree. In return, selectees serve as a commissioned Navy Nurse Corps Officer after graduation.
The Eight and Forty Lung and Respiratory Disease Nursing School Scholarship Fund Students must have employment prospects in specific positions in hospitals, clinics or health departments upon completion of their education, and the position must have a full-time and direct relationship to pediatric lung and respiratory control. Aid offered: Scholarship awards are $5,000 each.
