Alliance/ACT-SO?Journey?Award

All students of African descent in grades 7-11 (ages 13 and up), who participate in the?NAACP’s Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO), are eligible to apply. ACT-SO is a yearlong achievement program designed to recruit, stimulate, and encourage high academic and cultural achievement among African-American high school?students. Students can?apply in 28?categories?of art and writing.

NAACP’s Agnes Jones Scholarship

NAACP is a civil rights organization. Their work and service aims to bring equality for African Americans. To qualify, you must be a current member and U.S. citizen. Each year the NAACP, through generous donations, is able to provide scholarships to outstanding students.

WHITE COLLAR DEFENSE DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP: 2020

The scholarship program is open to all African American and Hispanic undergraduate, and law school students as well as incoming college freshmen. The candidate must be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Candidate must have a demonstrated financial need.

Richard B. Fisher Scholarship Program

Morgan Stanley offers the Morgan Stanley Richard B. Fisher Scholarship Program, which is an integral part of their diversity recruiting efforts helping to attract Black, Hispanic, Native American, and LGBT+ undergraduate sophomores and juniors. Candidates must indicate eligibility on their 2020 Summer Analyst Program application.

Xerox Technical Minority Scholarship Program

U.S. minority students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, who are enrolled full time in an undergraduate or graduate technical science or engineering discipline are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The scholarship is not available to spouses and children of Xerox employees.

Craig D. Butler Scholarship

This scholarship was established to honor the life of Craig D. Butler and to continue his legacy of integrity, generosity and service. Applicants must be of African-American descent, with a GPA of at east 3.0, pursuing higher education whether at a college, university or vocational-technical school.
