The one thing I wish I would have known before coming to the Art Institute is how the scheduling for classes works. Not every class needed is available in each semester, so the classes are not very flexible and you cannot do much about the days of the week or times of classes. Other than that, the school was very good at giving me all the information I need about attending the school and earning my degree.
I wish i had known that if i had waited, i could have avoided the confused mess of the school trying to get more people to apply when they can't afford it. Had i signed up when the new students did, i wouldn't have to worry about the mess of trying to sign up for classes that aren't offered.
Stay focused on your schoolwork, don't get caught up in the crazy life of Miami, because of the school system, if you fall behind, it is really hard to catch back up.
I wish I would have known that our school didn't have any sports or a gym or anything recreational.
More about my field of study!
I wish that I would've had the chance visit the school first. When I first arrived to the dorms, I was shocked at how badly the living conditions were. Also, I wish that I would've known that there aren't many jobs available, mainly because I am located in the metro section of downtown Miami, Fl. This school promises many things such as exceptional internships and job placement, only to disappoint in the end. If I could turn back time, I would probably enroll myself into the University of Miami and get a real college experience.
nothing. Everything is great
