    AIU structure at the time was an accelerated program that focused on the relevant issues of a subject matter. The classes always had students working in co-horts and so team work was a primary emphasis.

  3. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

    My experience at AIU gave me a working knowledge of how to deal with people. It gave me the insight that each individual comes with their strengths and weaknesses and managing those attributes are key to successfully competing any project.

  4. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

    Nothing really. I was very well prepared for my major as opposed to other students who came from backgrounds with little or no computer science. While the school states no previous knowledge in the subject is required students that didn't have the background did have problems. Also many of the students that weren't familiar to the IT/CS industry didn't realize that school is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to education.
