I think that Angelina College is a wonderful and decent junior college. Although, it's a junior college and does not have all of the same necessities as an university, the academics and sports are wonderful programs alongside with the Fine Arts program. Overall, I think that Angelina College is a really decent junior college no matter how small it is.
It is a great start to take classes that are transferable to many universities in the state of Texas. The tuition is affordable compared to other community and junior colleges in East Texas. It is in a town where there are plenty of places to eat and plenty of places to go and study as well as spend time with friends. It is a college ready town.
It is a fine junior college to start at. It has great instructors and students to help when you need it. Students are welcome to activate what they believe in or what they don't. Instructors help students with almost everything they need help with. Whether that be transferring help, registering help, or learning help. Instructors also notice the well being of students. When in a dark time instructors always noticed if I seemed to be having an extra bad day. It is a small town junior college that is a great place to start at.
Although I am just starting out at AC, all my teachers have made me feel comfortable in their classes. I was professionally helped in choosing my classes, and the classrooms were chosen as if to not make me move around too much. People are generally nice, and the bookstore staff are very helpful, as well as the councilors, and teachers.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Angelina College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
The advice I would give myself would be too study harder and plan ahead. When I came into college I thought I was ready to go but I had lack of information and if I would have had more I would have applied for more scholarships. Right now, I am struggling to raise the money to pay for my education at Texas A&M University because I need to transfer there to pursue my career.
I wish that I had known that I would have to go to the college to take some of my test for my online classes.
The worst thing about attending Angelina College is that the school does not provide my major. This is why I plan to transfer to Texas A&M University.
I take classes online, so I have to call the school a lot. The people that answers the phone always transfer you back and forth to the same places instead of answering the questions themselves.
My school is best known for is quality education at a reasonable cost. Because of the low cost a lot of adults come back to continue thier education at Angelina College and have a lot of underpriviledged young parents that can't afford to go to a big university. I love the diversity my school offers. It is also a very small school so you can get one on one attention from the teachers and good advice because the teachers can know you personally.
I would have to say the best part of attending Angelina College would be that the classes remain small. Attending a small college allows me to register w/ the teacher I want to register with.
people who would rather be partying and is just going to college for the parties
