Morgan

There is not many things that I wish I had known before coming to Angelo State University. All of my questions had been answered prior to enrollment and there have been no surprises.

Cameron

I have been around to other places now, stay at Angelo the environment is better, it's closer too home, and they give tons more scholarships than anywhere else. This is the best place to be. Don't plan on going anywhere else just cause it's more "prestigious".

I wish I would have known that my parents were not able to help me more financially with college. I did not know that I would have to pay this much to attend Angelo State University. My my expected family contribution was supposed to be 15,000, and unfortunately my parents are not in the position to help me out with any money. It would have helped to know that I would not be receiving any financial aid because my parents make too much, but are not able to help me.

Enrolling in Angelo State has shown me my glaring deficiency when it comes to technology. So much of the essential processes of college is now done exclusively on line. It puts a spotlight on my mediocre abiltiy to navigate websites and accomplish things that are internet based. I wish I had known what a premium was put on technological savy so I could have been better prepared

Jack

I wish I would have known how hard it is to get the classes I need for my Pre Reqs. With a small college, it is currently on a budget and is cutting a lot of classes and there are a lot of people that come to Shasta College. I now know to register as soon as possible so I can have a higher chance at getting the classes I want. It is important to get the classes you need because then you can reach your goals faster.

Daniel

I wish I would of known more about the location and city as to where the school is at; I come from a big city and having to move here was quite an adjustment for me since the city is not so big. I also wish I would of known more about the various degree programs offered at the school such as pre rec classes, course descriptions, meet personally with the head advisors, faculty, and staff of the various departments.

Whitney

I wish I would have known what I was going to major in a little earlier. I changed my major my junior year and it set me back about two years. If I would have known my major a little sooner I may have been able to graduated a little earlier.

Jessica

I wish i had known what my learning type was and how i learn material. Its importanat becasue it is up to the student to understand the material and finsih all the work. When it comes to tests, if you do not know how to study and learn on your own and what works for you, then it is harder to remember everything that you need for the test. I also wish i would have known how to seperate my time between friends and school becasue you have to set aside hours of study time which i failed to do.

Jonathan

To be honest, I grew up in the area directly surrounding this campus, and I knew a lot about it before I applied to go to school there. There was not much that I wish I had known about the campus before attending. Solid place.
