Anne Arundel Community College Top Questions

What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

Miurel

The worst attribute I could attach to the current college I go to is the limited classes available. Given the tenacity and ambition of my classmates and myself, it would seem that the only obstacles to our goals, the mountain that we have to climb with every registration period, is simply getting into the classes we need due to the lack of instructors or sometimes simply the number of classes available for working adults. I am frequently inspired by my classmates, both younger and older, and this reality of limited classes is a sad one for us all.

The worst thing about Anne Arundel Community College is the minimal social life. Everyone has their own life and sometimes gives off the vibe that they do not want friends, as they simply want to get their work completed. While Anne Arundel Community College has some events on campus, most students go to their classes and leave.

The worst thing about AACC is the distance between East and West campus. If you take classes back to back, like me, you only have a 10 minute break to get to your next class. If you have your first class on East campus and your next on West campus, you can guarantee you will get some cardio in or be late to class.

The worst thing about my school (and probably all other schools) is the price of books. I am attending community college because I cannot afford to go to a four year school and it's supposed to be cheaper. Then, you get here and the cost of books almost bankrupts you.

Christine

The worst thing about my school is that there are so many students and not enough parking spaces available. This is a problem because even when I leave my house early, there is still a chance that I will spend half an hour trying to find a parking space and be late for class.

Walking across campus is like walking through an ash tray because almost everyone smokes. Also, finding parking between 10:30AM-1PM is nearly impossible.
