Many students seem disinterested with the idea of succeeding. If I got paid every time I heard a student something along the lines of “all I need is a C” I probably wouldn’t need financial aid. This isn’t to say that most students do poorly, but they don’t have very high expectations for themselves. When I hear students say these things I tend to get upset because I feel everyone is capable of doing well if they put the time in. I just don’t like hearing people selling themselves short.
lack of choices. Anoka Ramsey Community College only has general courses, it would be nice to have more choices to choose from.
There are too many people for how small it is. we have a very large parking lot and when that fills up we have an overflow lot but that even fills up by 10 am every morning so people are forced to park in a business's back lot, which is really far away to walk in the cold Minnesota winter days.
The amount of students that can end up in some classes. Some of my classes can be larger than I prefer but nothing to extreme (30 -40) people.
