I love the school and wouldn't want to attend any other. All the teachers are always available and willing to help you and I feel as safe as can be on campus. The staff and students go out of there way to make you feel like family and everyone is there for one common reason and that is to serve God. I also love that the campus is small and that the student body is not big. They offer different things to get involved in such as different singing groups, acting, instrumental programs, and puppets. And there is always plenty of choices to pick from when choosing your meal in the cafeteria. But one of my favorite things is the activities that you do weekly with your dorm it is a time you get to spend together and become closer with one another. School rating: 10/10

I love the college and am supper excited to be starting there in January. The three stars are not because they are not good, but are because I don’t know the answer. Everyone there is really friendly and show what true Christians are like. I have no complains about the school.

I have a good opinion of Appalachian Bible College for several reasons. First, the faculty genuinely cares about the student body and often will go out of their way to help us. Also, the college is small which keeps the atmosphere healthy with almost everyone knowing everyone. The college is a private institution that is non-government funded. this keeps the college from having to change to continue receiving funding and puts all that pressure off.

Appalachian Bible College is an all around great place. I have made friends, played sports, and studied hard. Thanksgiving Break started recently, but since then I have been in contact with some of the friends I made. Because of volleyball I have been able to travel to different states. By studying I have made A's and one B. The B is from Speech; the class is hard but has grown me. ABC is a wonderful place to be!

    I would make sure that I was ready for a change, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I had a hard time with transition from going from a home to life all by myself. I wish I would have had the opportunity to get out a little more to see the difference in life at home and away from home.

    I wish I would have known about preparing for financial aid ahead of time. The process can be lengthy and it takes time to recieve funds after being approved.

  4. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

    The worst thing would be that many students come from religiously sheltered backgrounds and when they first encountered students such as I, who grew up in public school and in tough neighborhoods, they really did not know how to respond. You would feel like a "cast-out" on account of your rough background. However once they took the time to know you, things changed.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
