I will never forget my first day of college. I felt so much older because everything was different to me.
Definitely Devilpalooza. I'm in a club called LAVA (Lighting Audio Visual Arts), and we set up the stages and lighting for many of the events that happen on campus. We got to help set up the stage for Wallpaper and the All-American Rejects and stood at the foot of the stage during the concert--for FREE!!! (Well, maybe not-so-free if you count the 7+ hours of manual labor we did hahaha.) But it was totally worth it. We had a lot of fun and went to IHOP afterwards, like at 2 in the morning.
My first day trying to find all of my classes! Downtown is a small campus, so it wasn't too hard. It was really hot outside and I thought I would melt. I learned really fast to carry water around with me in August and September.
