The size of the population.

It is considered a "party" school because of the size of the campuses which I would have to disagree.

Nothing really.

The worst thing about my school is how hard it is to get into the classes you need to graduate and still have a decent schedule that accomidates jobs and free time well.

The advisors are often less prepared than the students when it comes to class scheduling/registration. They don?t give valuable input, and typically don?t know when classes/programs are going to be changed or cancelled. This ends up being extremely inconvenient, as academic advisor are students? main resources. When students don?t graduate on time it is usually due to either failing classes and retaking them to complete their degree, or the advisors not advising adequately and they didn?t end up with enough credits of a certain type so they had to stay an extra semester.

the worst thing about my school is the immensity of it all there are so many classes and students, opportunities and majors it is sometimes extremely hard to stop and take the time to make a decision on which ones to go after. Knowing which path is best for you even with the schools help can be an immensely hard decision to make.

Some students come go to college to get away from home, which can cause conflict in class if they don't pay attention and or disrupt the class by talking or interferring wth the lecture or class work.

The size of it. We have about sixty thousand students between the four connected colleges. We are the first or the second largest University in the country. A whole square mile not including the dormatories

I would just the fact that it is in Arizona. I am from here and the summers are really getting old.

Parking. If you're unwiling to dish out a lot of money for a parking pass, and even if you do, parking lots are very small and it is very hard to find a spot around 9:30-3:30pm on a daily basis.

I don't like the commute to Tempe at all.

I hate the bad reputation that ASU has as a party school. Just like at any campus, if you go looking for parties, you will find them. There are so many other great activities for leadership development and to gain career experience, and so many great ways to have fun by being involved on campus - volunteering, going to events, being a part of the residence halls - that don't involve alcohol!

ASU has gotten a reputation as a party school which is unforntunate.

The possibiltiy of getting killed. The crime rate is very high in tempe.

The worst thing about my school is the financial crisis it has been going through for the past years; for example, tuition has been increasing every year and more programs and clubs are disappearing.

I love my school and am remain to be a grateful part of the competitive College of Design, however, the dollar amount spent on having to print out handouts and powerpoints appointed by instructors is ridiculous and should be included in the cost of tuition.

I would probably consider the worst thing about my school to be the slow reaction time of the scool to open desired classes. For example, if 80{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the students would like a class open on Tuesdays and Thursdays that is only offered on Monday Wednesday and Friday, it probably will not happen.

Lots of emphasis on business majors (i.e., internship fairs and job offers), many parties around campus that involve lots of alcohol, sometimes illegally (especially in the fraternity/sorority houses and the close-packed dorms on the north side of campus). Some professors seem like they honestly don't care about the students, that they just want to teach the class to get it over with. These are mainly graduate students, though there are some faculty who wish to do research and are forced to teach introductory courses and REALLY don't seem to enjoy it!

The campuses are very spread out, so it's difficult changing majors to something that's only offered across town.

The worst thing about my school is the cost of living if you actually want to have fun. Yeah tuition isn't that much, but if you want to live on campus or right by campus then you're going to be broke or mooching off your parents. I wish there was some kind of middle ground.

I think one of the worst things about this school is the belief that it is a "party school", when in reality not all the students on this campus party that much. However, kids come here thinking that's all students do here.

Often, because of the large amount of students and the extreme diversity, people disagree on things and it takes a lot of time and debate to get things done. There are so many points of view, and so many times there are too many chiefs and not enough indians.

I think the worse thing about the school is the parking. There are times when I had to drive around for a while for me to find a parking spot. a few times I recieved a ticket for parking in an area that I was not supoosed to park in. I would rather do that instead of being late for class and missing something crucial.

Size, big classes,

I think the worst thing about ASU is the reputation it has as a "party school." As a pre-medical student, I chose to come to ASU because of the many opportunities the school offered, including research, multiple hospitals and internships. I was very impressed with the Phoenix metropolitan area, but I was disappointed to discover that many students consider ASU to be a party school where drinking is the only pastime. I know this overshadows the truth about this university, because I definitely have to work my tail off to earn my grades.

Next year, freshmen will supposedly be forced to live in campus. If this policy is actually enforced, it would be a major drawback for many students. I am paying my way through school without financial aid. I know I could not have afforded dorms and tuition. It would also prevent students from living in appartments or renting homes.

ASU is the largest school in the country, so it can be rather intimidating. If you get involved with your major's school or college, though, like I have at the music school, the size of the rest of the campus does not really matter, and you still get that small school atmosphere with a large school's resources.

I think the wosrt thing about my school is the reputation it has earned as a party school. ASU is more than the label that preceeds it. A small portion of the population attending ASU participate in that activity, it just sad that, that is what wins the attention.

It's too big to be an intimate learning environment.

I loved it! I can't think of anything I didn't like.

It is kind of expensive for out-of-state students like myself and it increases every semester.
