I would tell my past self that that the teachers and my mom were not kidding when they said studying would be beneficial. It doesn't hurt. Do not wait until the last minute to study for a test. Cramming does little to no good and by the time you take your test, you've lost all the information you stuffed inside your head quickly the night before. Instead of cramming, study a little bit every other day and especially the night before the exam. Don't stay up all night. Sleep is good. Breakfast is also helpful. It wakes you up and keeps you focussed. It's almost like magic! I'm never a big breakfast eater, but if I can, I will at least eat a piece of toast. Anything is better than nothing for remembering information better. So: sleep, breakfast, and not cramming at the last minute, are the pieces of advice I would give my highschool self if I could go back in time. Also, relax. Just chill. Don't stress out. Keep your cool and everything will turn out all right.
If you are well-informed about how to handle your financial matters, than there is hardly a thing about UCA that should be difficult or bad. It is a wonderful, beautiful school. You can do just about everything online from keeping track of your tuition to adding and dropping classes and if you have any questions, the financial aid office and/or your advisor is never too far away. There is also a doctor's office on campus that is free for students to visit. There is a ten dollar late fee, however.
Anyone can join the University of Central Arkansas. But it helps, if you are a freshman, to know what you are getting yourself into. If you have gone to college before, like a two-year community college, UCA will be a step up from that. It is a four year college and the classes offered will be upper level classes. The teachers are more strict and the classes 'meatier'. Don't be surprised if your first semester turns out to be one of the hardest semesters you'll ever have. Be aware of what is to come, but have fun.
