My school is know for their education program, in which I am involved in.
I chose Athens State University because I have always heard great things about it. Several of my family members and friends have attended Athens State. They have a great program for education majors. It is a wonderful school, all of the teachers and students are very friendly and helpful. A lot of school gave me a run around about their school but Athens State was honest and straight foward with me.
Athens is a small college with a community feeling. The staff and professors are wonderful and so helpful. Tuition was also a big factor, Athens State provides quality education for half the price of other larger universities.
It was close to home and had a wonderful education department.
