I rte it a 10. Overall opinion is that it is a number one school with a high graduation rate. The professors are always available for the students especially to answer any questions that may arise. The classes are scheduled just right that align with my time to work, study and attend classes. It is a fabulous, friendly and focused school.
Sometimes the location or affiliation of a school is not as important as its reputation in whichever program you are seeking to study under. Atlanta Technical College does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, national origin, sex, religion, marital status, or disability. Individuals should be provided programs and services that will enable them to develop and improve their academic skills, technical competence, and work attitudes. These attributes are necessary for job acquisition, retention, and advancement in a career that is personally satisfying, socially useful, and economically beneficial.
GREATNESS IN EVERYWAY JUST MAINTAIN START STRONG FINISH STRONG take your classes and get out. You DEFINITELY have to stay on top of Financial Aid. Go to them directly and make sure you get everything sorted in person. No phone calls. Ask for names as well. That seems to be the only issue people seem to complain about since I’ve been enrolled..
I have been attending Atlanta Technical college since the year of 2016. MY experience has been great, I can not say other students will agree. I believe that my experience has been better than others simply because I have taken the initiative to utilize my resources and not stopping at "no" or "I don't have the answer(s) to that". I do feel that there should be a lot more resources available to the students as well as accurate advisement. The staff could be a little more patient and willing to help instead of brushing you off to other departments. I've had a great experience with FWS (Federal Work-study)and currently I am gaining great experience. It is hard to sometimes get in touch with the staff as well as instructors about questions you may have whether its via email or phone. You have to stalk them sometimes. But overall I have made the best out of Atlanta Tech because I am self driven and the resources that were made available I have taken advantage of them.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Atlanta Technical College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
If I could go back in time, I would have finished High School full term instead of getting my GED. Other than that I really don't think I would change much because I am proud of my decision to go to Atlanta Technical College and my family is proud of me too! One advice I would give myself though... would be to get plenty of sleep at night!
Much older than I, ask lots of questions and sometimes rather slow at understanding and very talkative.
I wish I had known that the Drafting Diploma program that I am majoring in was becoming an associate degree program starting 2010. I am in my last quarter there so it would have been nice to get an associates degree rather than a diploma.
It costs less then 4 grand to get an Associate's degree, and is ranked highest among all technical schools in georgia. (Although students dispute that fact deeming it the 4th or 5th.)
The fact that they give anyone a chance. They also work with you and not punish you for not knowing.
The worst thing I would say about my school is the lack of unity between the students. Because I have noticed a lot of anger and hostility.
Atlanta Technical College is best known for its outstanding career placement department, which has an 98{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} success rate.
Very rigorous, but thanks to the professors we are able to receive help and make As on all assignments
Learning i know it sounds a bit odd but we all love to learn its what we paid to do.
Atlanta Technical College is a tremendous institution of higher learning they treat every student as a individual and not just a number.
Have not noticed a stereotype but if we did hold a stigma im sure its not accurate
The kind of person that shold attend this school is anyone looking to enhase or better their life and could not make it in a four year school. This school prepares you for the furthering and going to the next level.
What I brag aabout the most is that it's a easy school to get into and they offer fiancial aid and they have plenty of scholarships and also they have plenty technical programs.
