Some who wants a home away from home should come to Auburn. Auburn challenges the mind, the body, the soul, and the heart. Compassion about for the Auburn family, integrity, and drive are all things that set Auburn students apart. There is no "perfect" or "sterotypical" student here, however, we are a big melting pot of races, cultures, ideas, interests, opinions, and futures. The best thing we all have in common is our pride in ourselves and our pride in Auburn.
hardworking gocufocus person
When I think of an Auburn University student, I think of someone who is ready to accept full responsibility of their college experience. The teachers and administrators are always willing to help you, but will not make those critical decisions for you. A possible student must be goal oriented, particularly future goal oriented, because of the way the curriculum is set up. It ask students to plan ahead of time regarding classes and which leadership roles to take
If you love a small-town feel, southern charm, professors who care about your learning, and a university full of students who are passionate about their school and studies, Auburn is the place for you. People who like small towns, football, and a relaxed atmosphere.
I have actually found that Auburn University is very diverse when it comes to personality types. However, many of the people I have met can distribute their studying time and their free time fairly well. Students also must be willing to participate in football season, if they don't they will feel extremely out of place all of fall semester. The students at Auburn are friendly and accepting, and you are almost guarunteed to find your "type" of people.
All types of people will enjoy attending Auburn University. I promise!
Someone that loves tradition is perfect for Auburn. Also they need to be ready to work and experience amazing things. Anyone that is interested in Auburn should visit because once you see campus you will never want to leave.
Someone who is open to getting to know people, if you are shy you need to open up because meeting people and being interactive is the only way you will survive.
Anyone really, Auburn has great programs for almost every major that someone would want. It also is a small town, but with 24000 has a big town feel especailly during football games. It can be both fas pace and mellow. There are class sizes both large and small, but no matter the size most professors make themselves really approchable and will meet with any student who seeks help. There are also lots of programs to help students with every subject if they need help studying or managing their time. We also have amazing counselors that help any way they can.
A person looking for a true "college town" will love Auburn. It is perfect for someone looking for a close knit community that is rich in tradition and prestige. All tigers-present students, future students, and alumni- make up a tight family. Auburn is a great choice for anyone that is ambitious and believes in the importance of balance. A person who is dedicated to working hard but also likes to have fun. There are some people who do nothing but study but there are very few. A well balanced person will do well because this school forces you to be well rounded and know a little bit of everything.
So one who is serious about learning, but also likes extracirricular activities.
Anyone should attend Auburn, it's a great place to be! There's diversity so you can make friends with all different types of people. This is a small town so people who get really bored easily might not like it here. And people going to Auburn should probably like football. And they shouldn't mind that there is no where to park!
Someone who wants to be a part of a family; who wants to be apart of a tradition. Someone who wants to attend a highly rated college of the above-for-mentioned. Auburn places a large bent on career placement as well.

Someone who is career oriented but likes to relax and enjoy other hobbies. Someone who loves the outdoors and sports and all about school spirit. Someone who can balance thier social life with thier classwork. This school can be very competitive.
Conservative with high morals.
I believe Auburn is very accepting of all kinds of students, but particularly someone who is outgoing and is looking to get involved would best fit in here. I came from an extremely small town and small school, but I did not feel overwhelmed by my school of 24,000 students because there are so many activites and organizations available to get involved with. All in all, a person looking to reach out and make lifeitme friendships is the kind of person who would be more than welcome here.
Conservatives fit in best. But really, anyone.
Academically, Auburn is a great school for those interested in engineering, vet sciences, construction, or aerospace engineering. Those programs, along with a few ohers, are some of the best in the country. Socially speaking, Auburn is a great enviroment for anyone. Everyone is friendly. Seriously, I'm yet to meet someone who won't go out of their way to give you directions or just help you out. There's really nothing that sums up the Auburn spirit better than the Auburn Creed.
