Family. Auburn University embodies every single atribute I was looking for in a college and it all begins with what we like to call the Auburn Family. Anyone who lives in, went to, or just simply loves the school is a proud participant in the Auburn Family. The family means being able to walk down the street wearing anything AU and getting a hardy "war eagle" or simply a smile from every family member you encounter. Having this family makes me able to feel at home when I am somewhere so far away from where I grew up.

The best thing about AU is how welcoming the people and campus are. Teachers are always willing to help students. Students are considerate of other students and anyone on the campus. The more acclimated students will help new students find their way to a certain building. Students and faculty of AU are actually one big family. Even though we might not know each other yet, we would be more than happy to help each in any way possible.

The best thing about Auburn University is how great the people are. All of the professors, advisors, various employees, students, and residents of the city are so welcoming and supportive of the university. One could ask almost any person they see for assistance and that person would do their best to help out. The atmosphere is that of more that just a college or community, it is that of a family. That’s why I believe in Auburn and love it.

The best thing about Auburn was the faculty staff available to the students. These men and women were often available before and after class to help all students--from the ones who never came to class to those who studied hard every night. While I was at school, I had to leave a few weeks prior to finals making it almost impossible for me to catch up with testing material. Thanks to my professor and our meetings, I was able to take the final and end the term with an impressive grade.

The best thing about Auburn University is the school spirit. Our college experience is mostly molded around our football season. Thousands of families and friends come into town every weekend to visit and see the game. Our university is family oriented and based on many traditions; a couple characteristics that have very strong appeal to me.

One of the greatest aspects of my school is that the professors really want the students to learn. They don't just stand up in front of the class and lecture, each professor offers to help students with anything they need. For example, my English professor in the fall did everything he could possibly do to help my classmates and I succeed. He offered extended office hours before essays were do so that he could review them and give advice on what could be made better.

I personally consider the best thing about our school as the family atmosphere. The at home feeling me and my friends have while on campus is incredible and unpassed by many. This year's slogan, for lack of better word, was "all family, all in," and every day on campus it is just that. Everyone is kind and willing to help and the professors are incredible!

The best thing about Auburn is the friendly atmosphere. Everyone is so frienndly. There is no way you come here say you didn't make any friends. It would be quite impossible.

My college is large, but has a small feel. The Campus is laid out perfectly and it is easy to move around and get places quickly. There is a friendly atmosphere and many campus activities are available. People who attend this school are extremely proud of their school and have tremendous spirit. I feel my school is well respected in the business world.

Auburn is in a small college based town. The community accepts all the students and treats them fairly and equally. Being a part of Auburn is like being a part of a family. Football is a huge plus for Auburn and one of the most popular sports here, there is nothing like going to a college football game and feeling right in place. Not to mention Auburn is big on academics and have many accredited programs of study. This is very important aspect of getting a degree.

I love Auburn's family atmosphere. Once you're part of the Auburn family, you're always a family member. It's a very welcoming and friendly environment where fun memories are created and friendships are formed for life. You can go almost anywhere in the world and you will meet another Auburn Tiger family member with an upbeat "War Eagle!"

There is a great community atmosphere, it is in a small town and people really get involved in the school. Also, most of the professors really want to help and take advice how to make the classes more enjoyable and helpful to the learning process.

The best thing about Auburn is the school spirit that the students and faculty have for the college. Everyone loves Auburn, and you can see it on thier faces walking on campus. This spirit is not limited to campus, but can be seen throughout the whole city. Graduates and alumni keep this spirit forever. I love wearing an Auburn shirt when I'm on vacation and striking up a conversation with an alumni. From the moment you enter the college, there is so much spirit in the faculty and students to get people excited about college and involved in activities.

I love the family atmosphere. Everyone around the campus is so friendly and goes out of their way to help those in need. The professors have an open door policy and other faculty members are just as welcoming.

This school is very accepting and beautiful. I have met a lot of wonderful people and have never felt like I wouldnt fit in. It is very easy to meet new people.

The best thing about Auburn University is that is extremely focused on preparing students for their career choices. I also am in love with the small town life of Auburn University because their is always something going on, but not so much that it becomes a distraction.

The best thing about Auburn is that it offers everything. It is easy to make new friends both in class and through extracurricular activities, such as clubs and organizations. There are plenty of activities offered, but not so many that it is easy to become distracted from school work. Many places to eat and shop off campus are within walking distance. The professors are engaging and care about your progress, and the work load is not unbearable, so there is time to relax. Basically, the overall experience here is the best thing about Auburn University.

The best thing is the professors and there extreme dedication both to their subject matter and there students. The faculty is always helpful and open to questions and concerns of the students. They make the classroom experience amazing!

The majority of the people were very friendly and nice. My professors were very helpful and interesting. They would have a conversation with you about the subject material at any time. I learned to value my professors opinions and work because of how intelligent they were. I do think I had some of the best professors available.

Projects. You'll learn more in Mechanical Engineering projects than you will most lectures

It is one of the only schools in the nation that offers a top program in Industrial Design--that's my major. The program is very intense; but, the professors are exceptional in the field and it's worth the hard work.

There are many great things about Auburn, but I've had the opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers in the world. I enjoy going to class and doing school work because I learn so much, and it's fun. Not all the teachers are great, but there are some that are awesome!

I love the atmosphere and the rich tradition on Auburn's campus. It is hard to travel far without seeing a friendly or familiar face. There is not pressure to drink as much here. I think the focus of the campus is on the things that matter like friendships and school versus social fraternities and football. We love our Auburn tigers, but we know that there are greater things to life than these four glorious years. Auburn creates a comfortable atmosphere where students can develop their confidence and intellect through various means, and appreciate the global community as well!
