We are on a trimester schedule. Yes, the breaks are great but it gives you less time to perfect your grades. There is no leeway. You have to stay on top of everything because the minute you take a break your grades could instantly go down.
Nothing. Its far from home, but that's not the college's fault.
I believe the worst thing about Augustana College is the lack of sustainability reinforcement. Yes, recycling bins are available in all dorm rooms and academic buildings but I don't believe the need for recycling is as heavily enforced as it should be. We need to preserve the Earth we live on not only for ourselves but for our children and grandchildren. It takes small steps and with LED lights around campus and reusable take out boxes in the cafeterias we can do our part to turn Augie green.
the tuition price
The worst part about Augustana was probably the advising and scheduling. It was a horrible experiance...however I have heard it has gotten better!
The parties on the weekends are the worst part of this school because I don?t like to drink or do drugs. Because I don?t go to the parties I was never able to find a group of people to hang out with, or a group of friends. So not being into partying really hurt my social life on campus.
The school is fairly pricey, especially for things like food service.
Sometimes they are not picky enough when deciding what students to let in.
Administration not always listening to what the students want and doing things without asking students opinions. Such as course/major changes, building changes, campus changes, etc.
